Number Four – They’ve Got the Accent

Soccer, especially during World Cup season, is about as international a sport as you can get. That means listening to countless players trying to speak English.

And for the players, it’s win-win: At best, he’ll be praised for his “linguistic” skills. At worst, he’ll be admired for trying.
